Day 37 Carpenter

Writer's picture: WorldEndingProductionsWorldEndingProductions

A Carpenter spent days perfecting the perfect piece. He worked through the long hours of the night, past the point of fatigue. He adored his work and couldn't wait to show it off. When his guests came into the shed, they didn't notice his work. But they bought all his wood shavings.

(Little bonus expo, about my thought process while writing)

Sometimes it's the things you don't expect.

You pour your heart and soul out, but no one bats an eye. While something like a throwaway project gets all the praise.

It leaves me feeling empty; hollow.

Blood and sweat for nothing.

I want them to be passionate about the things I am. I want people to admire the same things I do. Perhaps I need to learn empathy.
